Bookings:

Full payment/ 50% deposit requested to confirm booking
Check in time 14:00
Check out time day of dispatcher 10:00


Methods of Payment:

Payment must be made 24 hours in advance.
Payments can be made using the following methods:
Debit Card / Credit Card facilities available (Master card / Visa)
Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
Credit card via booking portal


Our Cancellation / Refund Policy:

Should you for any reason cancel your reservation a month in advance, we will be happy to refund the full amount paid.
If we receive a cancellation notice within a month of your stay the following policy will apply:
Less than 4 weeks before check in date - 75% refund
Less than 2 weeks before check in date - 50% refund
Less than 1 week before check in date - No refund


Smoking Policy:

Strictly no smoking when entering the residential area, smoking is restricted to outdoor areas only.


Food and Beverages:

Please take note: Food will not be prepared on location. If you would like to add a Breakfast and/or Dinner vouchers to your booking we will in return issue a voucher which can be redeemed at Eish!!! Restaurant located at Lake Umuzi.


Inventory of the Rooms:

Please take note that the rooms have been fully furnished and the kitchen has been equipped fully, it is the guest/(s) responsibility to make sure that items that belongs to De Stroom Guest Lodge stay’s in the room and does not leave the premises.
An Inventory check list is done each and every single day.
Items that is missing will result in extra charges that will be added to your room when checking out.


Other Policies:


Right of admission reserved: Guests enter and leave the premises at own risk. De Stroom and its staff accept no liability or responsibility for any damage, injury or loss of any kind.
The owners and management of De Stroom have the right to request that any guest/s leave the premises with immediate effect due to disturbance, damage of goods/property, unruly or unacceptable behavior.
No money will be kept on premises, no checks will be accepted.
